R & B Only, Boss Up Mixer & Michigan Made Fashion Show

This weekend has been busy af for me. I was invited to one of the dopest events known as R & B only, which is that r & b version of Trap Karaoke basically. This is my 2nd time being invited to this event and it was fun af. I took my home girl Jasmine with me and needless to say Saint Andrews was definitely a chilled and fun vibe.

Michigan Made is a weekend for Greeks (fraternity & sorority) have a weekend filled with various events, Trend Fashion Show being one of them. The Show featured various Michigan based designers, including one of my high school classmates E. Hobb‘s “LUFF” brand which is a handmade clothing line featuring various items like custom pants and shirts.

Another brand that stood out to me during the fashion show is Body Card by Shante’ Cole. What I like about this brand is that it’s focus is to make every one feel sexy. From dresses, swimsuits & accessories, Body Card has you covered. For my plus size readers don’t even trip because she recently launched Body Card Curve, which goes up to a 3x.

There was also a super cute curvy girl boutique featured in the show, the “Melanie B Collection”, a brand who soley focuses on bringing cute fashion trends to women who are XL-3x. They are Michigan based and just launched a couple weeks ago and are already doing shows, shout out to them.

My final stop of the night was the Boss Up Mixer hosted by Wealthy x Le Don. The purpose of this mixer was to bring together young professionals in the Detroit area to network, enjoy food & drinks and support Wealthy & Le Don’s professional brands. Photos were taken by Detroit’s most popular photographer (my bestie) CJ Pros and I was accompanied by my girl Jas again.
